Hoping your year has gone well and you and yours are having a great holiday season!

February was a difficult month.  Brooklyn Joanne, Kassandra and Ryan’s child, was lost prior to delivery.  Kassandra did have some medical complications and has recovered from them.  She was off from work for a period of time.  In September, Kassandra, Ryan and I did the remembrance walk organized by Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (https://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/).  Kassandra and Ryan raised enough money to have a sign with Brooklyn’s name.    Kassandra and Ryan have gotten through the holiday rush of retail (Ryan works at JCPennys) and airlines (Kassandra is working for Southwest) and are doing well.  They will have been home owners for one year now in Brighton, CO. 

In October, Lee Alan was born to Karissa and Jake.  Morgan likes her brother.  She is doing well and always wants to help out which keeps her dad and mom busy in Bayfield, CO.  Lee is busy growing and being a baby (and occasionally keeping mom/dad up at night).  Jake continues to fight forest fires and Karissa is still working for a company which specializes in payroll processing. 

Work for me has been fairly steady and not quite the fever pitch it was last year.  This year I did receive a 30 year anniversary gift.  I did make a few trips to Bayfield to visit Karissa, Jake, Morgan and Lee. The drives have been nice.   I get to see Kassandra and Ryan for dinner more often as they are a bit closer.  I did join a volunteer organization to do tutoring for students called Whiz Kids.  It has been great experience.    In my spare time, I have been working with Raspberry PIs to make a weather station, gaming and keeping my computer skills sharp.  My Email address is glenn@rekers.us
